Role Overview
The company is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage and coordinate the implementation of tasks across various teams. This role requires overseeing projects to ensure timely, within-scope, and on-budget delivery, primarily using JIRA for ticketing and project tracking. The Project Coordinator will work closely with cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and ensuring the smooth execution of projects.
Responsibilities
- Create JIRA Projects for new customers based on the Statement of Work.
- Create JIRA Project Plans for new customers based on the Statement of Work.
- Manage project workflows using JIRA, including creating, assigning, and tracking tickets across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project tasks are completed on time.
- Oversee the day-to-day progress of projects and ensure alignment with the overall project timeline.
- Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring all parties are aware of project status and any issues that arise.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Monitor JIRA for any blockers or delays and proactively address them with relevant team members.
- Ensure that all project deliverables are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow processes and implement project management best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management or coordination.
- Proficient in JIRA for project management and ticket tracking.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Systems-oriented and detail-focused.
- Fluent in conversational English.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Problem-solving mindset: seeks independent solutions to challenges.
