Role Overview

This is a fully remote position for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for the company using Xero accounting software, including tracking income, expenses, and transactions. Key responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and assisting with payroll processing. The Bookkeeper will also ensure compliance with financial regulations, prepare documentation for audits, and provide remote support to the accounting department as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial records using Xero accounting software, including tracking income, expenses, and transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and prepare financial reports.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare documentation for audits and provide remote support to the accounting team as needed.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in a finance or accounting role
• Exceptional organizational skills and exemplary attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and driven with a strong sense of urgency
• Proven ability to interact effectively with both customers and internal teams
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote, often-async environment
• Conversant in English (spoken and written)
