Requirements

• 3+ years post articleship qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant
• Professional qualifications such as CA/CPA is an added advantage.
• Amazingly resourceful. High-agency mindset to do what it takes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word) is required
• Prior start-up or SaaS experience is a plus
• Knowledge of Investment banking and portfolio management is a requirement.
• Knowledge of managing tools such as Zoho Books/ QuickBooks and Proficient in Google Sheets
• Good analytical, forecasting, variance analysis, budgeting skills

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Accounting : Manage and oversee entire operations of the accounting from proper accounting methods to complete annual audits
• Tax & Compliance : Complete ownership to ensure that taxation practices are best in class
• Setup Global Payments Business & Compliance : As we setup a global operations liasoning with industry professionals and ensuring that we set up the right legal and compliance structure
• Complete ownership of business planning / budgeting and compliance / due-diligence and interfacing with founders to manage the funds deployed and reporting business metrics from time to time.
• Validation of Service Agreements ensuring all compliance are in place before registration and on boarding.
• Banking and Fund Management.
• Coordinate and direct preparation of the budget and financial forecasts for Commercial fixed cost and drive cost efficiency projects
• Payroll & Employee taxation
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
• Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
• Basic Knowledge of GST & TDS
• GST & TDS Return Filing
• Prepare tax computations and Income Tax returns
• Account/bank reconciliations
• Review and process expense reports
• Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
