Your Role: Global Director of Capital, Engineering, Energy & MRO Procurement

As the Global Director of Capital, Engineering, Energy & MRO Procurement, you will lead a strategic sourcing team within Elanco’s Global Procurement division. Your focus will be on optimizing procurement strategies for capital investments, engineering projects, energy needs, and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) categories. In this role, you'll drive cost reduction, process improvements, and foster strong partnerships across various business units.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Capital, Engineering, Energy & MRO procurement team.
• Identify and implement cost reduction and avoidance opportunities.
• Develop and present sourcing strategies and options to align with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee RFIs, RFPs, and complex negotiations, building and managing supplier relationships.
• Coordinate procurement resources and ensure timely execution of sourcing and contracting activities.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Required Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sourcing and managing commercial service supplier relationships.
• Top Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities; ability to deliver sourcing strategies, RFXs, Supplier Relationship Management and Commercial contracting activities; strategic leadership expertise.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred qualifications):

• Proven experience in leading complex negotiations and strategic sourcing project.
• Advanced proficiency in supplier relationship management and procurement tools.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive organizational change.

Additional Information:

• Travel: 15-25% annually, including international travel as needed
• Location(s): UK Hook Office - Hybrid Work Environment
