Job Description

Position Purpose:

Reporting & Data Analyst for the Global Procurement Organization.

Brambles Global Procurement Excellence a transformational organization responsible for developing policies, processes, procedures, and roll-out system applications with the input from the Global Procurement Business and establishing governance and controls to ensure compliance on the execution.

Brambles Global Procurement Excellence organization is looking for an experienced data analytics specialist to lead efforts to define and capture required data sources from existing system applications for the creation of usable reports and dashboards for our Procurement organization

Major/ Key Accountabilities:

  • Concentrate on value-added long-term strategic initiatives for Brambles and consider options to identify and eliminate non-value-add activities
  • Partner to understand requirements and priorities impacting processes
  • Implement best practices by the identification of new applications and technology.
  • Have strong knowledge of process design and documentation
  • Drive transformation of data management practices for long term success
  • Drive the design and implement data management foundations from a governance, process, and technology perspective by providing scalable and effective best practices and guidance
  • Identify any gaps in data and determine the best way to represent it visually to stakeholders
  • Align the reporting with the global best practices and work with the Procurement stakeholders to ensure agreement and alignment on the data quality.
  • Frequent alignment with the Finance P2P Analytics, IT, and other stakeholders as it pertains to data shared between the functional departments
  • Build and standardize new automated reports and/or improve existing reports using and scaling data management capabilities in MS PowerBI, SAP BW, etc.
  • Turn raw data into informative dashboards so the Procurement users can easily visualize data and discover actionable insights specific to their needs.
  • Communicate and educate Procurement stakeholders on data management concepts and how to interpret and use the reports to make business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Masters preferred or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of Procurement experience.

Preferred with experience in areas related to Reporting and Analysis, Project Management, and Implementation.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Ability to work across functions, across regions and globally
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholders
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with working on multi stakeholder projects
  • Strong interpersonal, presentational, and networking skills
  • Strong Excel skills and manipulation of data
  • Strong information analysis skills in the context of Indirect & Direct Procurement

Knowledge and experience with SQL and reporting systems (SAP BW, Power BI, etc.).

Languages:

Mandatory: English

Desirable: Spanish
