About the position

We have an excellent opportunity available to make a difference at Kraft Heinz!

The Import & Export Analyst position lies within the Customs Trading Compliance Europe Team and you’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting to the Exports Logistics while getting a lot of exposure to both external and internal key stakeholders.

In brief, you are responsible for:

  • Supporting and developing the import/export teams managing finished goods loadings/deliveries across Europe, ensuring documentation compliance and on-time deliveries.
  • Simplify, standardize, automatize, and improve import/export processes across our loading points in Europe (Netherlands, UK, Poland, France, Spain, Ireland, Belgium, and Italy).
  • Managing our TMS and Trade systems (OTM/GTM) and assisting in further development of these systems.
  • Managing Duty/VAT and international trade optimizations.
  • Developing route and region-specific strategies to reduce cost and increase agility and automation and costs related to Inland, Sea freight, Road freight, Rail freight transportation.
  • Standardize rituals and routines between the regions to share know-how and improve efficiency.
  • Ability to develop and execute contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Managing proper information and documentation flows within the Exports team.
  • General troubleshooting and problem solving in all areas touching our global logistics flows.
  • Taking responsibility for tax/customs compliance of all our finished goods movements.
  • Ensuring that the Company is following laws and regulations regarding transportation, including dangerous materials and non-permitted ingredients to each country.
  • Offering support in the case of any legal issues pertaining to transportation or distribution.

Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Masters Degree in International Business / Supply Chain or Logistics and Trading Management
  • 2-5 years’ work experience in Customs Brokerage / International Logistics is an advantage
  • Knowledge of EU customs processes/law a pre, SAP knowledge, general freight forwarding knowledge
  • English and Dutch proficiency required, additional languages a pre (French, Spanish, Italian or Polish).
