We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Engineering to lead our high-velocity product division. In this role, you will work closely with other senior leaders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and cutting-edge technology solutions that align with our strategic objectives.

As the VP of Engineering, you will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation, streamline engineering processes, and cultivate a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the engineering strategy for the assigned division in alignment with business goals.
• Translate company strategy into engineering goals and overcommunicate to the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Team Management and Development

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, ensuring high performance and career development.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the engineering department.

Product Development Oversight

• Drive product development initiatives from conception to launch.
• Oversee project timelines and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with product management and other departments to ensure successful product delivery.
• Ensure seamless integration between engineering and other departments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product development and optimize engineering processes.

Process Optimization and Innovation

• Drive innovation and ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of engineering solutions.
• Continuously improve engineering processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.

Performance Management and Reporting

• Implement performance management by tracking leading indicators, implement management reporting, and communicate results.
• Establish and monitor key performance metrics for the engineering team and projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development and engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Director, VP, or similar) managing engineering and software development teams.
• Proven track record of leading high-performance engineering teams in a SaaS (Software as a Service) or Fintech environment, delivering scalable, reliable, and secure technology solutions.
• Experience in building and scaling engineering teams, including recruitment, mentoring, performance management, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success) to drive product development and align engineering efforts with business objectives.
• Strong experience in cloud-native architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong technical background with expertise in software development and engineering management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be able to read, write and speak clearly in English
