Mid-Level Web Developer

As a web developer, your core responsibility is to design, develop, and maintain websites or web applications, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, to implement features and functionality that enhance user experience and achieve project objectives. Additionally, you'll continually test and troubleshoot to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring optimal performance and usability of the final product.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Attend daily meetings to discuss project updates, requirements, and collaborate with team members.

•Engage in full-stack development tasks, working on both frontend and backend components to create comprehensive web solutions.

•Participate actively in code reviews, providing feedback to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.

•Conduct unit testing for both frontend and backend code to verify functionality, identify bugs, and ensure reliability and performance of the application.

Requirements

Must-have Skills / Qualifications:

•Minimum 3 years of experience in web development

•Extensive experience of one of these Programming languages: Javascript, PHP, Ruby, Python

•Programming skills in either of these MVC frameworks: Laravel, Ruby on Rails, Django, Nest.js

•Programming skills in either of these Frontend Libraries: React, Vue, Next.js, Nuxt.js, Redux and etc.

•Familiarity with HTML, Javascript and CSS

•Have experience in creating RESTful API

•Have experience in Unit Testing

•Experience in using version control tools like Git

•Experience in using remote repositories like Github, Gitlab and Bitbucket

•In-depth understanding of web development

•Familiar with SDLC principles, such as Agile

•Applicants from the Philippines will be prioritized.

•Have basic understanding with Software Architecture (e.g DDD, Clean Architecture, Microservice)

•Know how to setup dev environment (e.g Vagrant, Docker)

•Have basic understanding of CI/CD

•Have experience on code review and familiar with git workflow

•Have good discipline on writing clean code

Advantageous Skills/Experience:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related

•Infrastructure Experience (e.g AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

•Have experience teaching/mentoring juniors

•Knowledgeable on backend libraries (e.g Laravel, Django, Nest.js)

•Have experience teaching/mentoring juniors

•Swagger or API documentation
