Group Tax Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join Inspired Thinking Group as Group Tax Manager on a part-time basis. The opportunity has arisen due to ongoing growth of the business with a broadening tax profile reflecting the scope of activity of the business (including M&A) and its geographic spread. The candidate will be expected to work closely with members of the Finance team as well as external advisors.

The position is part–time expected to be 2 or 3 days a week equivalent. We are open to flexible working arrangements for this role to suit the right candidate.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assisting with year-end, current, and deferred tax provisioning and statutory disclosures for Group Reporting and subsidiaries.
• Working with the Finance team to draw together tax information to enable external advisors to prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
• Estimation of payments on account for UK CT
• Ad hoc advice on UK VAT where required from the Finance team who will prepare the VAT return.
• Reviewing and documenting existing tax processes and controls, particularly around intra-group activities.
