What is the opportunity?

The Cloud Support Analyst I will be a key member of our cloud operations team, responsible for providing essential support to our cloud infrastructure and applications.

This role will primarily focus on monitoring and enhancing our dashboards to provide visibility to performance and availability of our cloud services.

This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Cloud Support.

What will you do?

Monitoring:

• Proactively monitor cloud components, to identify potential issues or anomalies.
• Utilize established procedures and tools to perform regular checks and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Document and escalate critical issues to the appropriate teams for timely resolution.

Dashboard Creation:

• Develop and maintain informative dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and system health metrics.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand data requirements and design effective visualizations.
• Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, accessible, and provide actionable insights.

Incident Response:

• Participate in incident response activities, providing support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Document incident details and follow established procedures for resolution and prevention.

Learning and Development:

• Continuously expand your knowledge of cloud technologies, monitoring tools, and industry best practices.
• Participate in training programs and certifications to enhance your skills.

What do you need to succeed?

• Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience
• Domain knowledge of banking and financial institutions and/or large enterprise IT environment
• Knowledge of cloud concepts, and software development / project lifecycle
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Agile, Scrum experience
• Experience planning and deploying business and IT initiatives
• Ability to showcase big picture and drill down to details
• Ability to identify innovative solutions to problems
• Out of the box thinking
• Detail-oriented
• Strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Able to work under stress and conflicting timelines, when necessary
• Pro-active with a strong desire to learn
