Our client is a surf retailer that specialises in wetsuits and surf accessories. They are a 39-year-old business (brick and mortar) shop that is now in a fast growth phase and has become a major online retailer for the surf category.
They are now looking to hire a Shopify Coordinator who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of their Shopify Online channel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Shopify online store, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Manage and optimise product listings, creating new entries with a focus on SEO best practices.
- Import seasonal SKUs, barcodes, products, and images using supplier data.
- Regularly update and customise Shopify store themes to maintain a fresh and engaging user experience.
- Manage promotional content, including discounts and offers, and ensure timely updates across the store.
- Implement on-page SEO updates and technical data as provided by SEO specialists.
- Generate purchase orders in Stocky based on supplier POs or invoices.
- Prepare weekly reports on stock levels, highlighting low or out-of-stock items to maintain healthy inventory.
- Draft purchase orders for replenishing out-of-stock items.
- Provide chat support, handling customer inquiries from platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
- Assist in managing social media and EDM campaigns through Klaviyo, when necessary.
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
- Bonus: Knowledge of basic Shopify Liquid programming is a plus.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Shopify, including administration, themes, and inventory management.
- Ideally holds qualifications in eCommerce, Online Marketing, Business Administration, Product Management, or Product Marketing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Shopify, social media marketing, and email marketing.
- Advanced proficiency in Shopify.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft 365.
- Basic knowledge of Klaviyo and project management software like ClickUp or MS Project.
- Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage projects independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
