Support Operations Engineer - L2

The Support Operations Engineer holds the responsibility of resolving and fulfilling onsite desktop activities, ensuring seamless IT service operations for our clientele. This role involves telephone-based support collaboration with our remote service desk team.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve incidents and fulfill requests promptly.
• Provide remote assistance to onsite resolver teams for tasks requiring physical presence.
• Proactively identify and eliminate root causes to reduce incident volume.
• Participate in operational meetings with stakeholders to discuss support activities and new projects.
• Support the projects team in deploying new infrastructure, both desk and server-side.
• Serve as the primary technical representative for managed services team.
• Demonstrate fundamental software skills for tasks such as adding, moving, changing, and basic troubleshooting. Proficient in Microsoft Windows (all supported versions), Adobe Reader, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 2+ years of experience working within a service desk or support services role.
• Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure with some experience including networking technologies such as routers and switches (switching, routing, VLAN, WLAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Radius, VPN).
• 2+ years Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and group policy experience
• Excellant communication and customer service skills would be essential.
• Previous experience within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) is considered as a definite advantage
