Data Engineer

About the role

You will be working with a team of 6 data engineers to ensure efficient data storage, processing, and retrieval, often working with big data technologies and tools to support analytics and machine learning initiatives. You will also focus on data quality, security, and compliance to meet organizational needs.

The technologies the team is currently working with are: GCP as the primary data platform, GitLab, Terraform, Confluent, Python, SQL and others.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing, updating, testing, and maintaining our main data product solutions for the sustainable financing industry at SEB
• Proactively working on lifecycle management activities for the respective applications & solutions owned by the team
• Providing innovative solutions for complex problems

We are looking for:

• Python and/or Scala knowledge
• SQL hands-on experience
• Basic knowledge of Spark
• Creativity to solve complex problems
• Focus on CI/CD and Automation (Terraform & Gitlab)
• Experience with any Public Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure) would be an advantage
• Experience with scheduling frameworks (Airflow preferred) would be considered a plus as well

€2,600 - €5,300 a month

The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
