The role is for the Corporate Systems – Compliance and Legal , managing the suite of IT applications that support the Compliance and Legal related business process for enterprise. With a focus on backend and front end technologies, we have a number of in-house developed solutions that are built on corporate Standard Open Source technologies, such as Java and Praxis. The company footprint has expanded to encompass the development of a robust interaction with Data Science/Engineering layers for reporting.The role is for a Lead Engineer- Fullstack to manage all aspects of Compliance & Legal – supporting business features as well as platform growth features. The Engineer has to lead the internal engineering team supporting compliance products and should aim to grow compliance organically with a vision.

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of software development experience with at least one full cycle implementation.
• Demonstrates strong domain-specific knowledge regarding Target’s technology capabilities, and key competitors’ products and differentiating features
• Demonstrates broad and deep expertise in multiple computer languages and frameworks (e.g., open sources, Spring Boot, Ratpack, React JS).
• Ability to Architect, Design, develop, and approves end-to-end functionality of a products in RESTful microservice's patterns, platform, or infrastructure
• Experience in consuming or producing to events streaming platforms like Kafka
• Experience in DB optimization for SQL and no-SQL is an added advantage.
• Communicates and coordinates with project team, partners, and stakeholders
• Demonstrates expertise in analysis and optimization of systems capacity, performance, and operational health
• Understands and develops solutions to foster data lifecycle management
• Maintains deep technical knowledge within areas of expertise
• Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
• Experience in building highly scalable distributed systems
• Capable of leading the team with empathy & humility.
• Mentoring and Coaching juniors in team.
