The Team:

The Advanced Data Converter Platform Group (ADG) Team develops next-generation high-speed converter, transceiver, and digital signal processing platforms in deep-submicron processes for the most demanding mixed-signal applications. These big SoC (System-On-Chip) developments span a range of high-performance, RF mixed-signal applications and serve the IF/RF-to-bits function in diverse signal chains across markets spanning Aerospace/Defense, Instrumentation, Communications, and emerging markets.

Responsibilities

  • Designing high-performance analog integrated circuits in deep sub-micron CMOS/FINFET technologies
  • Work with and provide technical guidance for layout teams.
  • Work closely with other functional teams like digital design, verification, system engineering, software to ensure robustness of the design.
  • Troubleshooting analog circuit issues
  • Support post silicon validation

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of industry experience in Analog and mixed signal IC design with Master’s or PhD degrees is preferred
  • Candidate should have solid knowledge of analog mixed-signal design with experience in high-speed circuit design.
  • Good understanding of analog/mixed-signal circuit blocks including ADCs, DACs, PLLs, filters, bandgap, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, amplifiers, comparators, switched-cap circuits and oscillators.
  • Good understanding of IC layout techniques and practices.
  • Hands-on experience in parasitic extraction and post layout verification.
  • In-depth knowledge of analog mixed-signal concepts like Electromigration, mismatch analysis and mitigation, linearity, stability, Noise handling etc.
  • Design experience in advanced CMOS technologies and FinFet technology.
  • Working knowledge of Circuit design EDA tools using Cadence Virtuoso suite, co-sim VerilogA modelling and verification techniques.
  • Experience in lab testing of mixed-signal circuits and experience in using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.
