The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

The site of Le Hainaut based in Belgium belongs to Light Division.We are looking for a VIE Quality Engineer (SQA Software Quality Assurance) for 12 months within the team. Valeo site on tour video here!

Your challenges?

• You identify and handle the component non conformity in the site and 100% APU/LINE protection
• You do Conformity Control of the components supplied to and into the production site
• 100% Capable Yearly initial samples
• 100% Capable components delivered to the APU/LINE
• You do the control of the Supplier analysis speed and relevancy closure with a perfect communication to the APU
• You ensure follow up of the Charge Back with Purchasing
• You ensure 100% conformity of components supplied on a site level
• You handle, consolidate and update the following key indicators on a site level : yearly conformity for all the purchased components & reactivity in problem solving reactivity
• You work with the supplier in accordance with theSupplier Quality Manual after preliminary investigation on the Valeo site with Valeo site quality has been performed
• You escalade for any Purchasing Commodity engineer support required or for any roadblock regarding the incident problem solving activity or the yearly component conformity
• You ensure the 100% yearly conformity of the purchased components
• You contact supplier as soon as an issue is detected with a purchased component to get the supplier to organize the containment in 24h

Let’s talk about you…

• You are graduated from a Engineering School degree in Quality
• Ideally, you already have experience in Quality / in Production
• Ideally, in Automotive OEM or at Supplier
• Ideally, you have APU Quality engineer experience or Supplier quality experience
• You are familiar with quality tools & quality standards (ISO TS 16949)
• You have a fluent level of English, French
• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
