Senior Member Technical – .NET Developer + SQL– Bengaluru - Hybrid

BU (Business Unit) – GTO - Global Technology and Operations:

Global Technology and Operations (GTO) is a leading provider of trade processing technology and

managed services for financial services firms. GTO is comprised of a portfolio of solutions serving the Capital Markets, Asset Management and Wealth segments that automate the securities transaction lifecycle of equity, mutual fund, fixed income, foreign exchange and exchange traded derivatives. Our solutions provide automated straight-through-processing operations and enable buy- and sell-side financial institutions to efficiently and cost-effectively consolidate their books and records, gather and service assets under management, focus on their core businesses, and manage risk. We offer advanced solutions to meet our clients’ needs for Front-, Middle-, and Back-Office capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .Net, .NET Core, Angular, and SQL.
• Front-End Development: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate Angular components into .NET applications.
• Database Management: Design and optimize SQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Code Review and Testing: Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure software quality and reliability.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for ongoing projects.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in .NET development with a focus on migrating applications from plain ASP to .NET Core.
• Proficiency: Strong knowledge of .NET Core, ASP.NET, Angular (preferably Angular 8 or later), and SQL.
• Frontend Skills: Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  Database Skills: Proficient in SQL and experience with database design and optimization.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure or AWS.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Testing: Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.

Nice to have:

• Exposure using Frontend/Backend development frameworks AngularJS, ReactJS, Node.js
• Knowledge on AWS (Amazon Web Services) / Azure cloud services
• Exposure using GIT, SVN, Maven, Jenkins builds, Dockers
