About the Role

Responsible for providing application development and support services to meet AIA's business needs

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collect and understand business requirements, convert them into functional/ technical design specification, and advise solution to fit the requirements.
• Perform system testing, implementation, support, maintenance, and reconcile data across systems
• Partner with vendors to craft, develop and improve various systems by combining system, data, process, digital and other automation tools with subject matter knowledge to address business needs.
• Communicate and collaborate with external and internal parties and handle vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Handle IT service and system support / ad-hoc arrangements / urgent issues .
• Perform system design and analysis based on user requirement.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams, troubleshoot sophisticated issues.
• Full SDLC including design, coding, testing, and prepare technical/user documentation.
• Understand business process and user requirement to provide effective application system solution.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Degree / Higher Diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with at least 1 – 2 years of experience as a System Analyst in application design, development, and maintenance support in web-based and database application developments.
• Experience in leading application development, conducting SIT, supporting UAT, and owning the production rollout
• Experience in Agile processes is preferred
• Web development experience with C#, JavaScript, Java, Restful API, JSON, HTML, XML
• Experience in database such as MSSQL, DB2
• Software design and development using .NET framework
• Documentation and testing tools
• Good team player positive attitude, innovative, self-initiating, eager to learn and share with other team members
