Senior Product Designer

We are looking for our newest Senior Product Designer who will be passionate about shaping the next generation of our fraud and money laundering solutions.

As a Senior Product Designer at Verafin, you will have the opportunity of shaping cutting-edge experiences that empower our customers to fight financial crime effectively. Leveraging our design principles, you will work with a visionary team responsible for crafting seamless user interfaces, captivating user experiences, conducting rigorous research, and delivering compelling content design. Role Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and attend customer calls to perform usability tests, uncover problems, and obtain feedback

• Leverage data, metrics, and customer feedback to guide design decisions

• Create designs recognizing when diligent attention to detail is required and when fast low-fidelity sketches are adequate for forward progress

• Ensure we are continuously delivering consistent, thoughtful and thorough user experiences

• Apply systems-thinking to design problems to holistically scale the product forward

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and partners from every corner of Verafin to deliver quality solutions

• Mentor and provide feedback to other designers at Verafin to aid in their growth

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Design role

• A passion for talking to customers, building empathy, and deeply understanding their problems and requests

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and a variety of customer needs

• Driven to keep up with design and industry trends

• Strong experience with Figma and/or Adobe XD

• Proven success at solving complex problems and designing features that users love.

• Consistently working with people across product teams through the design and development process.

• Have a solid understanding of the goals Verafin product teams are striving for and your own strong opinions on how we can get there.

• Show a mastery of the tools needed for your craft (Figma, Adobe XD, Pencil and Paper, etc.) and confidence to know which tool to use and when.

• Be an expert in collaboration! Design is all about communication; next-level communication skills, including written, verbal, and visual are a must.

• Consistently iterate on best practices for continuous improvement.
