Clerk of Works

• Supervise the Contractor’s works to meet the quality and timely completion of the works in collaboration with the statutory TCP services provided by AP/RSE;
• Supervise the Contractor to carry out the works in accordance with the Specifications and Drawings, and to order removal and reconstruction of works of substandard material and workmanship;
• Monitor the contractor’s performance, work progress to comply with the works programme and any interfacing works with adjoining areas;
• Prepare regular progress/quality/safety reports;
• Attend regular contractor’s progress meetings, safety meetings and any other meetings as required;
• Review technical & material submissions, construction details & drawings;
• Participate in and monitor statutory inspection;
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on handover process;
• Report to the Project Manager on issues of site operation, progress and workmanship quality;
• Prepare list of defects and outstanding works and re-inspection schedule;
• Handle other supervision duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies or equivalent;
• At least 6 years relevant post-qualification experience in building projects;
• Experience in CLP substation project will be an advantage;
• Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in English Language and Chinese Language in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) /Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent.

Additional information

The contract period is for 1 year, subject to possible extension.

Candidate with less experience candidates may be considered for Assistant Clerk of Works.
