Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Webhooks and API Integration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, managing, and troubleshooting webhooks and API integrations between various platforms. This role connects our services to various platforms and smooth data flow and communication between our systems and third-party applications.

Responsibilities:

• Webhook Setup and Management: Configure, test, and manage webhooks to ensure real-time data transfer between systems.
• API Integration: Implement and maintain API integrations between our internal systems and external services or CRM platforms such as Service Titan.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to webhooks and API connections to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all integrations, including setup processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful integration and functionality.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Regularly monitor integration performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.
• Security Compliance: Ensure that all integrations are secure and comply with relevant data protection regulations and best practices.

Requirements

• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of webhooks, RESTful APIs, and related technologies.
• Experience: Previous experience with API integration and webhook configuration is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and document processes.
• Prompt Engineering: Understanding of using Genarative AI to classify conditions from a conversational context.
• Familiarity with Tools: Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and platforms like Zapier or Integromat is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Typescript, Python, JavaScript
• Understanding of backend frameworks like MVC, data separation.
• Familiarity with API libraries such as Next.js
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and Github
