SUMMARY :

As a coordinator of Levi’s daily transportation activities, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver our products to our partners across Europe. You will be part of our Distribution and Logistics team, and you will have a key role in planning and managing the final shipment of our outbound goods. The role requires you to plan, forecast, and achieve the shipping goals for our Retail, DTC and B2B flows. The role also involves leading supply chain projects and meeting objectives related to logistics and financial performance. The ideal candidate should be able to perform the role at a high standard, pay attention to details, communicate effectively and identify opportunities and risks. The candidate should have a service-focused and process-driven mindset and be very proactive.

She or he must be able to work well in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with different European and Global teams, especially on technology and reporting. She or he must have a can-do attitude, and a proven ability to negotiate, communicate, build strong partnerships across the organization, and influence others.

Role will be responsible for starting and completing tasks and leading the execution of the transport function and customer experience objectives. The professional is responsible for communicating clearly across functions to ensure the most productive and efficient workflow for the transportation function. This includes supporting the financial metrics while ensuring all service commitments are met for all business channels. The individual drives results and accountability while enforcing Levi’s Core Competencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following):

  • Responsible for day-to-day operational tasks associated with all outbound transportation from our DC EU Network, servicing the full European business.
  • First point of contact for transportation related questions from internal teammates and external partners
  • Performance monitoring, Ad-hoc troubleshooting, process creation, process improvement, active exception tracking, cross functional teammate servicing, financial closure.
  • Responsible for volume forecasting with our carriers, create, share, and present reporting regarding transportation performance.
  • Role also responsible to support in transportation related projects and initiatives, and audit support.
  • Support the transportation function responsibilities during out of office.

Process Management:

  • Competency in process management is required to strategize and build new ways of working and operationalizing systems to meet service and customer requirements (ie: B2B, B2C, CRM tools, reporting dashboards)
  • Support transport strategies for region based on customer requirements, service and ROI.
  • Partner with D&L teammates and cross functional partners to support any new account fulfillment strategy that requires account buy in and execution. Define success measures and benefit analysis.
  • Communication:
  • High level of cross functional collaboration, both written and verbal, with operational and key stakeholders, both internal and external. Frequency can range from daily to monthly deliverables.
  • Able to convey the company and department’s strategy across external partners
  • Have a commercial & process mindset be able to see the bigger picture and understand the business priority & needs. Be confident with process, systems and be able to translate commercial strategy into operating model and supply chain solutions

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years +’ experience in outbound transportation management (Parcel, FTL, Groupage, etc.).
  • 3 years +’ experience in people management
  • A strong affinity with data and numbers
  • Proven track record in problem solving and process improvements including measurable outcomes.
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Office Suite, BI reporting. Experience with SAP will be considered as an advantage.
  • Ability to read and apply operational metrics with the right balance between analytical and process understanding skills.
  • Able to level the communication, messaging, and action driven conclusions to the audience it is shared with.
  • Fluent in English. Other European languages is added value.
  • Strategic thinking + flawless execution
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary groups.
