Principal Lead - Salesforce Marketing Cloud

The role is a key member of Salesforce Markeing cloud team in Asset Management, responsible for a range of development activities working closely with Salesforce, Marketing and other teams within Asset Management, the role is a great opportunity to expand both your technical and business knowledge. A successful candidate should be able to define user stories and activities following agile best practices and set the right expectations on effort and timelines required to meet business requirements.

The team will develop & implement solutions by adhering to the required quality marketing cloud standards and policies, will help manage and prioritize work requests for enhancements, setting accurate expectations with technology and business partners to implement the change at mutually agreed upon milestones and timelines.

Collaborate with vendor/contractor partners to develop and implement the detailed design, configuration, and engineering strategies/solutions to deliver engineering solutions while remaining focused on security, uptime, and performance. Provide troubleshooting and resolution to complex problems/issues.

• Subject Matter Expert knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud – across all studios and integration with Salesforce CRM with an understanding of the broader Salesforce and Marketing Technology ecosystem. Hands-on experience as a full-stack developer for Salesforce Marketing Cloud creating personalized, dynamic messages, landing pages, SQL, and is experienced with data configuration, manipulations, and advance segmentation.
• 5+ years’ experience in working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud with hands on advanced experience in SQL, AMPscript and overall data architecture.
• 2+ years hands on experience utilizing Distributed Marketing, SFMC/SF Connector, and Interaction Studio experience.
• At least 3 Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications, preferably SFMC Email Specialist, SFMC Consultant and SFMC Developer. SFMC Admin certification and other accreditations are a plus.
• Preferred Skills
  • Understanding of marketing ways of working in the B2B Financial Services Industry
  • Proactive and self-starting demeanor with the ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating remotely.
  • Ability to set the right expectations on effort and timelines required to meet business requirements.
