Senior Analyst Instructional Design

The position focuses on the development of learning solutions that showcase investment solutions and engage our financial advisor audience. In this role, you will also be called upon to consult with marketing leaders and share recommendations aimed at enhancing their initial design/storyboard.

Training materials are traditionally web-based courses, stand-alone animated videos and/or multi-media content which can involve editing audio and video files that were recorded elsewhere.

This role is ideal for individuals looking for an opportunity to advance or build their Instructional Design skills by developing innovate learning content, in collaboration with highly skilled colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with the marketing leader on their design vision. Recommend design elements that enhance engagement and effectiveness. In some cases, extensive partnering on design will be requested.

• Independently develop/edit multi-media and interactive content utilizing the design/storyboard provided by the marketing leader.

• Adhere to strict corporate brand and style guidelines.

• Modify content in response to partner request and based upon formal review and approval guidance.

• In support of audit controls and a flawless advisor audience experience, conduct testing in a pilot environment prior to partnering with the appropriate team for publishing content to the Learning Management System (LMS) host site. Take actions necessary to produce utilization and completion reporting when requested.

• Consistently adhere to compliance policies and guidelines as well as partnering and execution best practices and procedures.

• Work with the team to create and maintain best practices and procedures as well as identify and implement process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate degree from accredited university.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and editing instructional design content. This includes combining graphics, video, sound, and text to create a seamless and engaging audience experience that is on-brand and drives business outcomes.

• 3+ years of direct experience with highly utilized software:

  • Articulate 360 Suite (Storyline, Rise, Replay, etc.)
  • Adobe products including Premiere Pro and Audition
  • Animated video (Vyond)

• Excellent inter-personal partnering skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly organized and results driven approach to manage and thrive when supporting multiple deliverables, marketing partners and concurrent deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or Certification in Instructional Design, Multi-media Development or related field.
• Familiarity designing and editing graphics, layouts, templates, logos, and icons utilizing Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
• Familiarity with financial products such as mutual funds, insurance, retirement services
