This position is eligible for Hybrid Work. The duties of this position can be performed as a hybrid work opportunity and also at our central office in Salem. The ability to report to Salem is required when business or operational needs are dependent on onsite activities_._

What We Are Looking For:

As the Federal Grants Analyst you will administer guidance and oversee all of the division programs that interact with the statewide Federal Grants Unit. You will be responsible for the administration and management of federal grants.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills

And

Two years experience coordinating or administering a program
OR
Any combination of experience or education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.

Note: Driver’s License Check - This position requires the operation of a state vehicle for the purpose of conducting official State business. If your license is from outside Oregon, you must submit at least a three-year court/DMV printout. If you have an Oregon driver’s license, a record check will be conducted on the top candidate to ensure a valid license and acceptable driving record.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong skill communicating verbally and in writing with a variety of people.
  • Skill writing clear and concise status, summary, technical, or narrative reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience interpreting and applying rules, regulations, policies, and guidelines as they relate to administration and management of various programs.
  • Ability to provide efficient and accurate management of grants.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate grant requirements and deliverables.
