The primary responsibility of the Analyst Conversion Payroll is tperform various payroll & online enrollment activity at a plan level for new & existing clients tGreat-West. Team performs following activities: Payroll Implementation and Maintenance: Implementing payroll setup for mega and large client, including UAT and performing change request from client for an existing setup FSET: New File mapping, Money Type changes, Change File mapping, Load indicative data, Online Enrollment: Online Enrollment Setup, Online Enrollment Changes Activities performed by the team is highly time critical, involves regulatory & monetary impacts which required adequate due diligence, timely response tquires, timely escalation tresponsible parties.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performing daily BAU, Quality checks & audits for PTS (Activities are listed in overview section)
Follows-up with various stakeholders for timely resolution
Timely escalation for any delay or issue
Provide various input for team MIS reports
Initiate and participate in the quality improvement process (identifying opportunities for improvement, leading key initiatives for the department, and documenting procedures). Initiate and monitor special projects as needed
Responding to email questions
Participating in the on-shore call when need
Setup of Complex Payroll for all new clients or make changes to existing clients
Peer review and provide analysis of results of all payroll setup for newly converted clients
Audits payroll set up for existing clients
Complete quality control checks for team members updating and testing
Create and update procedures, checklists and test scripts
Demonstrate consistent leadership abilities, such as being team and results oriented, committed, decisive, and flexible, as well as being a true role model for team members
Anticipate and resolve issues before they adversely affect projects and/or relationships
EDUCATION:
Degree from recognized university

Functional & Technical Expertise: Candidate must posses in-depth understanding of how Payroll processing works in system, background of core operations is essential
Detail Oriented: Ensures that information is always reviewed and presented in a thorough and accurate manner; precisely captures information to complete work accurately; focuses on the smaller elements and/or the fine points of material or processes
Innovative: Challenges established ways of doing things by sharing resourceful ideas and solutions
Problem Solving: Identifies problems by detecting patterns or connections; researches and analyzes problems, determines alternative solutions and creates action steps to solve the problem
Decision Making: Makes good decisions in a timely manner based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment; most of his/her solutions and suggestions turn out to be correct and accurate when judged over time; sought out by others for advice and solutions; has a bias for action
Effective Communication: Ability to communicate at all levels as well as possess good presentation skills
OTHER PREFFERED QUALIFCATIONS:
Good understanding & work experience of 401(K) Defined contribution plan preferably with Payroll & Implementation/Conversion background
Excellent problem solving, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
4 – 6 years financial operations (Preferred prior experience in Payroll & Implementation/Conversion background)
Intermediate Excel and basic knowledge of Access & SQL
Flexible to work in US shift
