UX Design Specialist and SW Engineer

With pure::variants PTC offers a tool that can manage variability in software product lines across the entire tool and process chain – including all generatable artifacts. This tool is unique on the market. A core strength is its connectivity to a large amount of engineering tools from PTC as well as mostly from other vendors. Using pure::variants in combination with these tools lets our customers create better adaptable software-intensive systems and platforms, meaning added longevity and reuse of already proven solutions in new product (variants).

We’ve already attracted a growing number of national and international premium clients from the automotive, mechanical and plant engineering, aerospace and defense industries. But growth always depends on the size of the team as well – this is why we’re looking for people who want to join us in advancing our product and leveling up in the market.

To support this, we are looking for a talented, experienced, and enthusiastic User Experience Design Specialist who at the same is also passionate about developing software and turning ideas into products; not only well versed in creating compelling user experiences across all digital platforms but has also hands-on experience in frontend development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, developers and other stakeholders to drive a holistic innovation strategy and deliver stunning Ux that meet business goals
• Manage the discovery and design process, drive decisions and assist in estimations
• Create project deliverables related to Ux that clearly communicate the intention and decisions behind
• Presentation of deliverables to designers, stakeholders and leadership
• Self-motivated expert in current and emerging technology, trends, standards, and devices
• As software developer responsible for developing and testing the frontend according to Agile methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design or Software Engineering with specialization in Ux
• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Designer in web-based, mobile and desktop software applications
• Careful attention to detail, as well as ability to grasp multiple product requirements concurrently
• Experience designing interfaces to support a broad range of responsive/adaptive HTML/CSS Frameworks
• At least 3 years working experience developing software using of front-end technologies, including CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript standards
• General understanding of web technologies (full stack)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A humble expert with an open-mind who knows that great ideas come from anyone and enjoys learning from and collaborating with others to deliver best-in-class experiences
• Has a sweet spot for the agile mindset

Preferred Skills

• Programming skills in multiple languages (JavaScript, TypeScript)
• Hands on experience with NodeJS, React, Antd, Redux, RxJS, jQuery or similar
• CSS and HTML5
