Summary

Campocologno Engineering is a Baxter Center of excellence based in Switzerland where our engineers and technicians work on design, construction, and installation of technologically advanced automatic machines for production, robotic handling and automatic packaging of medical pouches and medical device assembly.

This is where you can sustain our mission and support Baxter’s facilities and patients all over the world.

What you’ll do

• Run new mechanical designs or modification of existing ones
• Prepare constructions drawings and bills of materials
• Transform contractual inputs into project outputs in terms of calculations, dimensions, tolerances, material selection
• Review project periodically with Project Managers
• Evaluate customers’ specifications with the Technical Supervisor both in quotation and in project’s documents receipt phases
• Collaborate with Technical Office in coordination with customers regarding test, methods, materials, processes modes
• Follow-up on construction and manufacturing of main machine groups
• Work aligned with internal EHS regulations aiming to keep a safe and balanced workplace also respecting environmental principles
• Coordinate projects in partnership with Automation Providers: “build to print – build to spec”

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
• Knowledge of mechanical & pneumatic design
• Knowledge of computerized design techniques
• Previous experience automation technology is appreciated
• Nice to have experience in medical devices or pharma industry
• Very good social skills and ability to work in team
• Good knowledge of English
• Proficient in Italian (written and spoken)
• Availability to travel (up to 10-15% of the time)
