As a Lead Project Management Engineer- Systems and Mechanical Design you are responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. This includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. This will require mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies and processes of product qualification.

As a Lead Project Management Engineer- Systems and Mechanical Design(SSPS) you will be responsible for:

  • Ownership of the test program execution plan from design to test to release of test report.
  • Monitor program execution with engineering planner & test engineer on weekly/bi-weekly basis to ensure design engineering & lab using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
  • Delivers products as part of a team. Works on cross functional teams. Alternatively: Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
  • Develops new solutions under guidance, tools and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations.
  • Works together with business leadership at SPB and EB level. Specifies needs, communicates about project progress, approach and presents outcomes of research done.
  • Works with sourcing to determine best cost solution and lead time to deliver project on time with effective oversight on cost.
    • Responsible for parts physical management once delivered to lab involving and not limited to tasks like inspection, staging, test, disposition in coordination with shop foreman & technicians.
    • Responsible to schedule tests in the lab with an understanding of demand and capacity in coordination with lab manager/lab engineer.
    • Responsible to POR and limited shipping local and international.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred or a similar Engineering degree is required.
  • 1Year experience working as a Project Manager
  • 1 Year experience experience creating and developing project schedules along with presenting project process reports to upper management.
  • Experience gathering and prepare analytical date and present project updates to a cross functional teams
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
