What You’ll Do

Telstra InfraCo’ s – Operations and Asset Management oversees Telstra’s operations and asset management functions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define business problems, translating the business needs into actionable insights, and undertake relevant reporting solutions following an Agile framework.
  • Produce clear and concise reports and dashboards that communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the business.
  • Build, automate and maintain complex analytics on performance management to identify opportunities and risks and maximise performance for business areas.
  • Analyse complex data sets and identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and insights using various data analysis techniques and tools such as SQL, Power BI, R/Python.
  • Perform in-depth quantitative analysis, articulate complex data patterns using descriptive analysis, and prepare data using statistical models for use in predictive/prescriptive analysis.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for comprehensive reporting solution, ensuring data quality and integrity is maintained.
  • Develop solutions using Power Platform such as Flows, PowerApps and other tools for process optimisation and automation.
  • Contribute to building a strong team dynamic so working together is fun and everyone thrives.
  • Significantly drive continuous improvement, transformation and efficiency into current reporting and analytics processes, including driving self-serve ability across the organisation.
  • Understanding of cloud data analytics technology stack and their application in data management and automation i.e., Fabric, AI, Lake.

About You

  • 3-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
  • Skilled in Power BI
  • Skilled in data modelling and visualisation
  • Skilled in Power Platform (Flows, Power Apps)
  • Skilled in programming and queries (SQL, Python)
  • Experience working in an agile delivery environment
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with key stakeholders
