We're on the hunt for a driven Project Analyst to join our Lending Operations team on a 12 month secondment.

In this specialist role, you’ll lead the project management of identified Chief Operating Officer Initiatives; managing change that impacts Lending Operations; driving and implementing process improvement activities as well as representing the Lending Operations business for identified bank wide projects.

As the Project Analyst, Lending Operations you’ll document and update any process, policy, or system changes to ensure effective implementation across Lending Operations both locally and in ING Hub Services Manila. You’ll work with key internal and external stakeholders to support day to day management of change as well as being a key part of project implementation.

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy being an active contributor to delivering on the agreed strategic objectives of Lending Operations.

This role can be based in either Wyong or Sydney.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to uplift efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
  • Establish the process vision; working with internal business stakeholders to identify, prioritise and implement improvements and ultimately drive market leading customer service & efficient processes.
  • Ensure all ING process documents are in line with ING’s guidelines including version control and are easily available for staff via the ING Intranet depository.
  • Support and serve as an active contributor for key projects including automation and straight through processing projects.
  • Lead the project management of identified COO initiatives / projects that support and align with the strategic direction of the COO function.
  • Manage effective stakeholder engagement (both internal business and external partners) relevant to service delivery for ING Lending Operations

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience within Lending Operations or Mortgages would be highly regarded.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and automated IT systems.
  • Sound understanding of Banking regulatory requirements and legislation, including NCCP, Privacy Act, and AML/CTF Act.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proven experience in successful initiation and implementation of change.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task with excellent time management skills.
  • High attention to detail with exceptional analytical skills.
