Role Overview:

Otis is seeking a Data Science intern who will be exploring operational, equipment sensor, passenger traffic and market data to define strategy, improve performance, recognize latest trends, and identify market growth opportunities.

On a typical day you will:

Collect analytical requirements from colleagues inside the D&A team and in business groups. Search for data in various data platforms. Analyze and clean data, build appropriate models to discover meaningful business insights and actionable suggestions to operating units. Discuss and present findings and results to colleagues and stakeholders.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

• Complete at least 18 months in a graduate program in Data Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or comparable field
• Extensive experience manipulating data and building Machine Learning models
• Strong programming skills on various languages including Python and SQL.

PREFERRED

Experience with working on GenAI related technologies

Experience with working in Elevator related industries
