[What you will be working on]
Architect Excellence: Oversee the design and development of state-of-the-art product and mechanical systems that deliver unparalleled performance, efficiency, and meet rigorous safety standards.
Technical Beacon: Offer strategic guidance on mechanical design, automation, medical compliance, and related areas, supporting diverse projects for optimal outcomes.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Analyse emerging technological trends, conduct feasibility studies, and recommend innovative solutions to optimize our machine design and automation processes.
Integrate and Collaborate: Work seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs into fully realized systems, factoring in controls, electronics, and software.
Pursue Growth: Actively identify and secure funding opportunities through well-crafted project proposals, grants, and sponsorships.
Lead from Concept to Market: Drive development projects across the full lifecycle, ensuring successful transitions from design concepts to proof-of-concept prototypes and ultimately, commercialization.
Champion Strategic Initiatives: Initiate and oversee key organizational programs, aligning them with overarching goals and objectives.
[What we are looking for]
Educational Foundation: Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design, or a closely related field.
Proven Track Record: Minimum of 8 years of demonstrable success in mechanical design, product design, machine automation, or closely aligned engineering disciplines.
Mastery of Design Tools: Exceptional proficiency with mechanical design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Compliance and Precision: Deep understanding of designing mechanical systems, devices, and mechatronics solutions that adhere to industry standards (ISO 13485 for medical devices, etc.).
Product Lifecycle Insights: Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and practices.
Control Systems Expertise: Solid knowledge of control systems and their integration into mechanical designs.
Advantageous Skills: Experience with additive manufacturing, materials science, or 3D printing.
