Job Duties: Extract, prepare and wrangle large data to be used for analysis using Structured Query Language and Python. Design, lead and execute experimentations for the clients of Pinterest to uncover insights for best practices and generate proof points. Conduct deep-dive data analysis using quantitative methods and statistical approaches, including regression, clustering and decision trees, to uncover product insights, make product recommendations and influence the product team. Build, maintain and improve dashboards in Tableau, Superset and other internal tools for both internal and external use cases. Automate existing analysis using Python, SQL and other tools to allow user self-serve to improve the efficiency and productivity of the team. Identify operational pain points; use data to size, prioritize and recommend at-scale strategic solutions. Partner with cross functional teams, sales, service and product to facilitate successful conceptualization and execution of product and program launches. Recommend process changes, systems, and workflow automation to improve the Pinterest services offered to advertisers. Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) SQL; (3) Hadoop; (4) BigQuery; (5) Data Visualization; (6) ETL; (7) A/B Testing; (8) JavaScript; (9) Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is permitted.

Salary: $180,046.00 - $236,000.00 per annum.
