As an Intern Development Engineer Electrotechnics, you will be part of the R&D team that creates professional lighting solutions. You will work in a dynamic business context, together with other functions ensuring that what we do aligns well with the specific market demands.

In close cooperation with leading Electronic Engineer, you’ll support luminaire development teams by:

• Building luminaire prototypes and performing verification tests in laboratory environment.
• Scouting and benchmarking electronic modules.
• Advice on selection and optimization of electronic modules (DC supply units, LED boards, sensors, emergency lighting modules…) based on component datasheets and expected product performance.
• Setting of modules operating parameters (supply current, operating voltage, ...) and their publication in the form of Technical Product Documentation (like electrical setting file, wiring diagrams, …)
• Maintaining luminaire parameters database(s)

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering (or similar)
• MS Office Excel proficiency highly appreciated
• SEP G2 E-1kV qualifications will be considered as an advantage
• Basic experience with database management will be considered as an advantage
• Basic experience in 3D CAD modeling will be considered as an advantage
• You are at the beginning of Your Career
• You communicate effectively in English.
• Creative, curious, and eager to learn.
• You are a good team player.
