As a Validation Engineer you’ll be responsible for product validation of newly developed luminaires throughout the development project, so quality mindset and customer centricity must be in your DNA.

What you’ll do

• Ensure the quality and reliability of new products during the design stage according to the needs of the customer using the DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) methodology
• Ensure that customer feedback is embedded in the product development process using CTQ-s (critical-to-quality parameters)
• Manage risks through all design phases conforming FMEA procedures (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
• Ensure efficient test strategies and drive safe launch or field tests with active customer involvement
• Prevent incidents by ensuring robust design
• Develop and coach the R&D Team with tools and methodologies like DFSS and FMEA

Your qualifications

• University or college degree in engineering or a technical field
• Ideally if you have the knowledge in Quality assurance methods and tools (e.g., DFSS, FMEA).
• Strong analytical skills
• Project management skills
• Customer focused
• Team player
• Good communication skills
