What You’ll Do
This position is responsible for managing Purchase Order activity for the Engineering organization. Primary responsibilities include timely and accurate Purchase Order entry, follow up, and tracking while following company protocol. The successful candidate will work daily with our engineering community to advance mission critical projects in a timely manner.

As the Engineering Assistant, you’ll be part of our Product Execution team located in Medellin Colombia. You’ll get to:

Essential Responsibilities

  • Interface with engineers aligned to one of our 4 Engineering Centers of Excellence.
  • Collaborate with engineers on their Purchase Order requirements.
  • Process orders and review that information provided is correct and complete. Communicate with team of any pending issues.
  • Create and send purchase orders to vendors by resolving any issues or changes required on Purchase Orders that have been submitted.
  • Help track forecasted spend for both expense and capital Purchase Orders
  • Request tracking information on orders and communicate to team and customers.
  • Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with peers and superiors.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Other duties as assigned

You also have:
• Business Administration Degree or Certification
• 2-3 years of Customer Service experience or similar field.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
