Job duties;

• Locate for drilling equipment to complete assigned projects.
• Locate in both standard and high-risk areas, with live utilities.
• Maintain a working knowledge of utility depths and placements.
• Ensure vehicles, equipment and tools are properly maintained, in good repair and secured in a safe manner.
• Review field designs, communicating discrepancies to supervisor for change orders.
• Properly document all work completed to include pothole and bore logs.
• Conduit splicing, vault/pedestal placement and fiber/coax placement as needed.
• Complete general restoration and cleanup
• Complete all projects with safety as the #1 priority, ensuring compliance with internal safety standards and all governmental orders.

Requirements;

• Prior locating for directional drilling experience required.
• Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred, company willing to assist candidates with CDL.
• Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
• Ability to travel daily, ability to work outside of business hours when needed, overtime, holidays, evenings, weekends etc., in all seasons.
• Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• High level of energy, motivation and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, shifting from one task to another without interruption.
• Ability to work with a noise level from moderate to loud.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70lbs as needed.
• Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces or elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing in all weather conditions year-round.
• Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools.

$26 - $28 an hour

Salary range higher if applicant has their CDL.
