Home Support Worker

Reporting to the Program Coordinator/Manager, the Home Support Worker provides specific in-home support and emergency response services using a client-centred approach.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalent
• Experience in community care an asset
• Current CPR Certificate and current First Aid Certificate
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to take initiative, problem solve and time manage
• Ability to work independently as well as be an active, positive team player
• Computer literacy
• Shift work, including days, evenings, nights and weekends
• Ability to speak and converse in Chinese an asset
• Access to own vehicle for regular travel to client sites
