What is the key purpose of a Director - Agency Development?

A Director - Agency Development working in the Brands & Agencies team paves the path for Taboola’s sales and partnership efforts with agency holding companies and large independent media agencies & brands in Japan. This person will uncover & develop sales opportunities, as well as lead & sign partnerships with holding companies, large independent agencies and/or their subsidiaries as well as select direct clients. In this role, they will collaborate with and be heavily supported by our Sales, Account Management, Product, Finance, and Legal teams.

What skills and qualifications do I need?

  • 5+ years of experience working within or alongside holding group agencies.
  • Positive reputation and relationships across senior leaders at agency holding groups.
  • Vast knowledge of the Japan media industry landscape, with a digital specialisation.
  • Proven track record of obtaining and closing high value sales opportunities.
  • Outstanding persuasive communication and presentation skills, with strong ability to communicate complex solutions to a range of audiences.
