About the role:

As a Business Controller at SustainCert, you will play a pivotal role in steering our financial strategies towards sustainability goals, reporting directly into the CFO. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of a movement that is reshaping the way businesses approach their environmental responsibilities.

Your tasks:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to own Finance business partnering, look after our gross margins and align our financial strategies with our sustainability objectives.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
• Provide recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, offering strategic guidance to ensure financial targets are met.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial models to support business planning.

Requirements:

• MBA, Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and control roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and compelling manner.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting and carbon accounting is a plus.
• Since we are a scale-up, experience with working in a similar sized company will be beneficial.
