Hardware EMC Test Engineer

• cooperation in the process of increasing test scope and operational quality of the local HW laboratory
• ensuring compliance of laboratory testing process with external and internal standards
• ensuring proper configuration of test setups and equipment
• debugging test setup issues
• cooperation with the HW Somfy group laboratory
• HW tests execution and reports preparation
• training other team members
• taking part in the HW validation plans preparation
• working in line with safety standards

Requirements

• higher education – degree in electrical/electronic/computer engineering or related engineering field
• good understanding of EMC subjects
• good knowledge of EMC test standards (e.g. IEC EN 61000 / CISPR 14 / CISPR 16)
• knowledge of Radio test standards (e.g. EN 300 220 / EN 300 328 / FCC Part 15)
• very good knowledge of test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers or EMI receivers, Multimeters, Power Meters etc.)
• practical knowledge of hardware systems
• problem solving and analytical skills
• teamwork and communication skills
• good English level
