Munich Electrification is an innovative company founded with the aim of accelerating the transition to electric mobility. We develop innovative battery management systems for electric vehicles for our global customers. In 2022, we founded the Joint Venture QULECTRA together with Wieland-Werke AG.

Both companies share a multi-year partnership in the provision of battery management systems with shunt-based precision resistors. About QULECTRA

QULECTRA is the brand and power of two market leaders in the eMobility field - Wieland & Munich Electrification. The intension is to build up a team which is composed of highly motivated, exceptional engineers focused in developing the best-in-class shunt-based sensors on highest safety levels in a friendly and relaxed start-up work atmosphere in the heart of Munich

Your Responsibilities

• Support with day-to-day topics in software development from low-level driver implementation to high-level BMS algorithms
• Work on early-stage concepts for battery management systems and current sensing modules
• Support with test case definition and overall testing activities
• Evaluate & implement new tools and ideas for future products

Your Profile

• Bachelor or master student in software engineering, electronics, mechatronics, physics or similar engineering field
• Highly motivated, willing to take responsibility and ownership of a project
• Creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm for innovative electronics solutions for electric vehicles
• Preference for working in teams and strong communication skills (English and German preferred)
• First experience with programming (ideally C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink)
• Initial insights in the functionality of battery management systems and components
