What will a day in this role look like?

• Delivering technical support on secondary systems including the preparation of technical and design reports
• Providing engineering design expert advice from concept through to detail design
• Contributing to bids and proposals including cost estimates and supporting materials
• Ensuring all design work is completed in accordance with NZ standards and sound engineering principles
• Working closely with project teams to ensure timely provision of coordinated and quality engineering deliverables
• Contributing to the development of client relationships including identification of opportunities

Requirements

What are we looking for from you?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or equivalent
• Minimum of 7 years experience in the area of high voltage electrical design
• Demonstrated understanding of high voltage substation equipment, transmission lines, generators, transformers, reactive equipment, etc
• Experience in project management of small to medium size secondary systems projects
