As the Director of Payments Engineering will play a critical role in driving innovation, ensuring the reliability of our payment systems, and staying up-to-date with emerging payment technologies and trends. Your mission is to lead and manage our payments technology team. The Director

A taster of what you will be involved with:

• Payment Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive payments technology strategy, aligning it with the company's objectives.
• Payment System Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of payment systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Payment Processing: Oversee the end-to-end payment processing, including transaction handling, fraud prevention, and reconciliation.
• Payment Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect financial data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Payment Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with payment service providers, acquirers, and processors, and evaluate new partnerships.
• Innovation: Stay current with emerging payment technologies and trends, and drive innovation in payment solutions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, finance, and customer service, to understand and address payment-related needs.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant payment industry regulations and standards.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of payments engineers, fostering collaboration and professional growth

What we are looking for:

• Master's degree preferred.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in payments engineering or a related field, with a strong background in payment technology.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in payment processing, security, and risk management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with payment industry regulations and compliance.
