Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to address issues within SLA constraints.
• Assist with deployments and debugging of applications within the environment.
• Respond to and report critical security events, taking corrective measures per defined security policies and procedures.
• Follow up on issue resolution and documentation with vendors and IT staff.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot production systems with AWS, Cloudflare, and Kubernetes.
• Monitor existing infrastructure, respond to anomalies, and enhance the monitoring and alerting systems.
• Support and improve CI/CD systems.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (preferably Bash or Python).
• Define, document, evolve, and promote high engineering standards and best practices across multiple areas.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and software delivery.
• Provide consumer-focused solutions and innovative ideas to enhance user experience and drive business growth.
• Develop complex workflows and design architectures to support business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a DevOps role, System Admin, or SRE.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical background from certifications and/or working experience.
• Proficient in working with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud providers/CDNs such as AWS and Cloudflare.
• Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, GitLab.
• Previous experience with CI/CD.
• Strong project management skills.
• Knowledge of technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, Aurora, and RDS is an asset.
• Familiarity with Go, JavaScript, and ClickHouse is a significant advantage.
