What you’ll do

• Develop, manage, and upgrade security monitoring systems
• Offer advice on and monitor the effectiveness of security measures and mechanisms
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits to ensure the robustness of our infrastructure
• Identify opportunities for continual improvement, implement industry best practices, and propose modifications to our systems and reporting processes
• Research emerging security threats and propose proactive countermeasures
• Respond promptly and effectively to various security alerts

What you need to have

• Expertise in TCP/IP network traffic and event log analysis
• Worked at a mission-critical and fast-paced SOC in an L2 analyst capacity for over 2 years
• Experience with an in-depth understanding of attack monitoring and other security systems: e.g. intrusion detection (IDS/IPS), SIEM, WAF and SOAR
• In-depth understanding of the concepts of MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain
• Understanding of web application security, hacking techniques and attack flow
• Shell and/or Python Scripting

Nice to have

• AWS & GCP
• Hands-on experience with offensive security tools: e.g. Burp Suite, Metasploit, Atomic Red Team etc.
• Knowledge of compliances (PCI DSS) and standards (ISO 27001, OWASP, CIS)
• Security Certification (Cisco CyberOps, CompTIA Security+/CySA+, OSCP etc.)
