Senior App Developer

Overall Purpose of Job:

Compleo Charging Software’s end customer Apps should make access to charging infrastructure for EV Drivers as easy and intuitive as possible. As the e-mobility marked is growing exponentially new end customer features as well as UX and performance optimizations need to be developed.

Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:

• As App Developer you will develop new features for our iOS and Android App eCharge+ as well as our mobile web app ePowerDirect.com (with Angular, TypeScript and Cordova for eCharge+ App) and maintain them. Both apps are part of a distributed and highly scalable e-mobility cloud platform. Via this platform our B2B customers manage their public charging infrastructure and provide easy access to EV drivers throughout the apps. The platform markets the charging sessions for all business partners involved.
• Through active code reviews, pair programming, the exchange of best practices in the Architecture Weekly, a high degree of test automation and active processing of customer feedback, you ensure a high level of quality of your software.
• With your experience you will act as a technical sparring partner for your product owner in the development of the requirements from the booming electric mobility market, among other things via refinements of use cases and user stories.
• You will work with international colleagues in the scaled agile software development program using SAFe methodology and Scrum.

Requirements

Education:

• University degree in Computer Science/Business Informatics or similar education

Work experiences – time/seniority/sector:

• 4+ years of professional experience as App or Frontend Developer with Angular, TypeScript and a cross-platform framework such as Cordova or Flutter

Technical/ IT knowledge:

• Professional experience with Angular, TypeScript and a cross-platform framework (Cordova or Flutter)
• Experience with querying a backend via Graph QL
• Strong knowledge of tools and technologies, such as Webpack, RxJS, Firebase, GitLab CI, Jira and Confluence
• Experience with quality-driven software development, ideally using Cypress

Language – with level

• Fluent English

Mobility requirements

• As per need – usually 2-4 weeks per year to Germany or similar

Required Skills and Competencies:

• You love solving complex problems and making applications intuitive to use.
• Agile methodologies like Scrum/Kanban and ideally SAFe organized you past projects and you internalized their advantages
• You have strong communication skills and taking ownership on the end customer apps together with your team
• Ideally, you already have experience in the EV charging business
