Human Resources Specialist

As a human resources admin, it will generally be your duty to support the department's human resources specialists.

Responsibilities:

  • Organise and maintain personnel recordsUpdate internal and external databases (e.g. record annual, sick or maternity leave, engagements forms on Jobsplus etc.)Assist in onboarding process

  • Prepare HR documents and gather new-starter documents

  • Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors

  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues

  • Assist in arranging employee relocations

  • Assist in payroll by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)

  • Create references/bank letters/confirmation of probation

  • Assist in work permit applications

  • Support Leave Management

  • Manage employee discounts and discount app

  • Participate in HR projects

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar role, preferred but not essential
  • Basic understanding of Maltese labor laws and regulations
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective English communication skills
  • A personal and empathic approach
