Design Lead

Overview

Our client is seeking a versatile and creative Design Lead for a client in the consumer industry. In this role, you'll oversee the entire design process, from conception to final production. You'll work on a range of projects, from online marketing campaigns to social media artwork and website design. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance website performance and usability. A keen eye for design trends and innovative strategies for conveying brand narratives is crucial

What You Will Do

• Take charge of projects from the beginning to the end, guiding the design from ideation to realization and final production with assistance from Project Management.
• Supervise the ideation and realization of design projects for online marketing campaigns.
• Formulate innovative strategies to effectively convey brand narratives across various digital platforms.
• Produce eye-catching artwork for social media platforms, staying true to brand standards and campaign goals.
• Direct the design process for websites, ensuring user-friendly experiences and aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
• Work in tandem with multidisciplinary teams, including web developers and marketing professionals, to enhance website performance and usability.
• Stay abreast of the latest design trends and technologies to augment website design abilities.

What You Will Need

• 5-7 years in relevant design-level positions at significant global consumer brands.
• 2-3 years of experience in people management
• A good command of written and speaking English and Mandarin as the working language.
• Ability to lead and collaborate on high-impact and complex projects
• Ability to finish assignments independently
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in social media artwork and website design.
• Experience developing visual content for social media.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Open to travel.
